In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Trade Marketing Executive on a 9 month FTC basis to bring fresh insights and expertise to our Cunard department.
Role Overview
Responsible for the creation, development, and delivery of Cunard Travel Agent communications, supporting Cunard’s ambition of becoming the most recommended luxury cruise line by travel agents. Effectively manage multi-channel travel agent communications, including e-mails, social media, website, and print and any other marketing and/or promotional materials. The role also supports the sales team with the communications that their travel agents produce. Working in partnership with the Cunard brand marketing teams to deliver communications that support the overall brand marketing communications strategy. To ensure the content of all our communications is reflective of Cunard brand positioning and delivered in an appropriate tone of voice to engage travel agents. Deliver consistent messages across a variety of communication channels in an inspiring and engaging format.
The role is a full-time 9-month FTC role and is based on a hybrid way of working, with the opportunity to balance between being based at Carnival House and working from home. Travel may be required for event delivery and hosting of events on board.
This pivotal role will involve:
- Creating emails to the travel agent database, including writing copy and selecting imagery – re-sizing where necessary, using an email build programme.
- Support the Trade Marketing Manager to plan and deliver multi-channel travel agent communications, across email, social media, website and print that deliver a balance of brand information and key sales messages
- Work with trade press partners and support the Trade Marketing Manager in developing trade press plans, create briefs for trade press ads and manage the delivery of ads to publications
- Create and deploy content for Cunard Travel agent social media channels, identifying and using appropriate content for each channel
- Ensure content on the travel agent website is up to date, easy to navigate and contains key brand and sales messages
This role is positioned at CUK10 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, 9 month fixed term basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
What You'll Bring

- At least two years experience of working for a company in an administration-based role, ideally in travel
- Experience of sending out communications on a regular basis that are tailored to the audience
- Copy writing
- Proof reading
- Social media aptitude
- Proven experience of working in a team
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Customer database management
- Ability to work with websites and content management systems
About You: The Ideal Candidate

- Project management skills
- HTML coding
- Knowledge and/or experience of the cruise market and its operation
- Working in a highly commercial environment
- Has experience in working in a client services environment.
