In our continuous journey of growth and innovation within the Maritime Team here at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Technical Controller to join the team to alongside their colleagues oversee comprehensive asset management for our fleet of eleven cruise ships within P&O Cruises and Cunard which has 4 refits planned for 2025, as well as a new shoreside project.

This multifaceted role offers exposure to all the departments and key stakeholders within Carnival UK and our colleagues on board our ships.

 Managing fixed contracts, planned maintenance, and urgent repairs across diverse domains, your responsibilities extend to ensuring safety and compliance. You'll also:

  •  Act as the main point of contact for servicing needs, conducting supplier meetings to support operational objectives
  • Liaise with service providers for service visits, including statutory and planned maintenance and manage the end-to-end purchasing process for services
  • Create a weekly service planner and ensure timely requests, assisting Superintendents with logistical and service intervention
  • Support logistics for dry dock refits and contribute to crisis management as part of the Carnival UK emergency response team. 

This role is positioned at CUK09 level within our organization and is available on a full-time, 8 month fixed term contract basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

  • Project management experience would be an advantage
