This is a rare opportunity for a highly capable Solution Architect to help deliver even better holidays for customers of our leading travel brands, from within our growing Technology Architecture and Engineering team.

About the Role

As a Solution Architect you will join the team at Carnival UK and will engage in various ship and shore based technology projects. At the heart of the role is defining solution architecture for those projects through technical design. The role will identify the overall design of applications and map business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The role will also be responsible for the optimisation of CUK Technology system architecture through the understanding of technology capabilities and business needs.

Role responsibilities include designing and documenting project architecture solutions, with consideration for current systems, IT strategy, business requirements and costs. Liaison with key stakeholders, such as project managers and suppliers is key to the success of the role.

About you

With a considerable understanding of solution design and architecture, you’ll be well versed in the development of clear and concise documentation that will support your work. Your strong understanding of server-side and end-user application architecture design will mean you’re well versed (and perhaps qualified) in TOGAF principles and application.

As a Subject Matter Expert Solution Architect you’ll have a customer-centric approach and you will be truly passionate about finding answers to complex problems. You will have a ‘can do’ attitude, maintaining a clear focus on delivery.
