The role:

Right now we are looking for a bright, energetic and talented Senior Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role steering IT solutions as we transform our shore operations to meet evolving customer expectations, and industry changes. You will bring a passion for designing the next generation of  technologies, play a meaningful role in driving business value, and be an active member of a high-performing team – and have fun along the way.

The difference you will make:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect who can balance business need with functional and technical strategy to ensure we deliver future focused sustainable solutions;

• Serving as a technical authority and trusted advisor to our technology and wider business colleagues and partners.
• Ensuring Carnival UK Technology makes sound decisions on its portfolio of investments, and all parties understand the benefits, cost and complexity of proposed change.
• Understanding Carnival UK’s existing capabilities, developing solution options and recommendations aligned to Carnival UK strategies, and supporting initial sizing estimates.
• Developing solution designs for change, aligned with IT principles and appropriate governance, handing over to the delivery teams to ensure continuity, and participating in more detailed design reviews and estimates produced by engineering teams.
• Managing multiple projects with a flexible “can do” attitude with strong initiative and progressive learning capability.

Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK06, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

What you will bring:

To thrive as a Senior Solutions Architect, we're looking for:

• A solid understanding of solution design and architecture.
• Experience designing and delivering large and small scale change programmes as a lead solution architect.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise systems and integration patterns.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to influence multiple teams and stakeholders.
