This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a highly capable Senior Solution Architect to help deliver even better holidays for customers of our leading travel brands, from within our growing Technology Architecture and Engineering team.

The Role

As a Senior Solution Architect you will join our Technology Architecture and Engineering team at Carnival UK and will be engaging in various ship and shore based digital initiatives. You will provide architectural leadership to business and technology stakeholders to ensure we create unforgettable holiday happiness for our guests!

You will be responsible for the optimisation of CUK Technology system architecture, engaging within fast-paced operations and having a great understanding of technology capabilities and business needs.

This role has a particular focus on our digital transformation.You will provide solution design for our digital architecture, in particular our Adobe AEM-based web platforms and our SAP hybris Ecommerce platform, so knowledge of these technologies would be distinctly advantageous.

About You

We would expect you to have proven previous experience in a Solution Architect role, ideally within a substantial team of other Architects and with constant interactions across wider Technology and the Business. You will be an expert in producing clear, concise documentation of technical architecture and have a sound knowledge of solution design and integration principles, as well as TOGAF principles and application. You will have a good understanding of both server-side and end-user application architecture and design.

As a Subject Matter Expert Solution Architect you’ll have a customer-centric approach and you will be truly passionate about enhancing the digital service offering as well as creating an inclusive and engaging environment. You will have high levels of energy and a ‘can do’ attitude, whilst maintaining a clear focus on problem solving and delivery. You will be a natural leader with great relationship building abilities with other experts across Technology and the Business.
