The Role

This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving Cunard's success in the South region, ensuring the brand's growth and strengthening. You’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive account management support to a defined portfolio of travel agent partners, focusing on developing revenue streams and maximizing business opportunities within those agencies .

This role involves proactively seeking, evaluating, and building new partnership opportunities to broaden the distribution model for Cunard. The Regional Sales Manager will define and implement business plans to ensure growth targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for Cunard are met. 

Additionally, they will maintain senior relationships within their portfolio of travel agent partners and work closely with the Business Manager, Development & Engagement, to align strategies and goals.

You will:

  • Develop and manage relationships with travel agent partners to drive revenue growth
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand Cunard's distribution model
  • Create and execute business plans to achieve growth targets and KPIs
  • Maintain senior-level relationships with travel agent partners
  • Attend travel shows, conferences, and other industry events regularly, including some weekend work
  • Approximately 3 days out on the road visiting agent partners


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with weekend work required occasionally. Approximately 3 days out on the road visiting agent partners.


About You


Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you’ll also need:

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in a sales environment and account management responsibilities
  • Demonstrated success in delivering return on investment and achieving targets
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels with the ability to adapt communication style as needed
  • Proactive and comfortable with relationship building, public speaking, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities

Previous agency or business to business account management experience and/or a background in the travel or luxury sector would be an advantage.

About the Team

The Cunard Sales and Marketing team are instrumental in the success of Cunard and our aim to be the benchmark of luxury travel.  Our marketing teams maximize opportunity and create focused, meaningful communications that help to grow existing audiences as well as appealing to new ones.  We have experts across advertising, CRM, brand, PR, digital, loyalty and the creative studio who work together collaboratively to create unforgettable holiday happiness.  Our sales teams develop and grow partnerships ensuring they have the finest knowledge of our products. Our teams also manage sales communications, systems, and events to provide the best tools and support, ensuring that our travel trade partners are at the centre of all that we do. In addition to supporting travel agents, the sales team provide support to a team of ship based sales managers and work with third parties to find new routes to market for our brand.
