Job Description


As the first point of contact for our colleagues and visitors, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and professional running of the Reception Desk. You’ll deliver a high-quality, welcoming service that reflects the Carnival UK brand and values.

With your excellent organisational and communication skills, you’ll play a key part in creating a positive and efficient working environment for everyone.

This role is classified as CUK14 and is available on a full-time 5-month fixed term, basis. 

Requirements: What You Need to Succeed

Successful candidates will possess:

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Computer literate and great communication skills
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and excellent attention to detail
  • Previous customer facing experience is advantageous

About You: The Ideal Candidate

In this role, your unique personal attributes will be essential to distinguishing yourself. If you possess qualities that can drive success, you’ll make a great addition to our team.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Organise and maintain requests for company ID cards
  • Use Access Control system, to produce visitor/staff access passes and update records.
  • Review and maintenance of Access Control system ensuring accuracy, i.e. joiners, leavers, etc
  • Pre booking visitor requests utilising Visitor Management system, to include checking in and out of all visitors.
  • Proactively handle queries from internal and external stakeholders through face to face, phone or email communication
  • Switchboard and call handling
