In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival Corporation, we are seeking Marketing and Outreach Specialist Maritime Cadets to bring fresh insights and expertise to our Corporate department. 

Role Overview

The Outreach & Marketing Specialist will deliver and coordinate marketing and outreach efforts to recruit cadets across multiple brands and raise the profile of cadetships and the wider maritime industry. This role will build strong partnerships with maritime colleges and schools across the UK, maritime clusters, and other stakeholders to inspire the next generation of maritime professionals.

Please note: This role will require frequent travel in support of events and outreach across the UK.

This pivotal role will involve:

  • Support and assist with the development of the recruitment strategy to attract sufficient, motivated candidates to meet the programme requirements.

  • Design and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns to attract cadets across various brands

  • Develop engaging content and promotional materials tailored to young people, parents, educators, and career influencers.

  • Represent the organisation at careers fairs, maritime and educational open days, and industry events. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with maritime colleges, training providers, schools, and youth organisations and collaborate with the UK maritime cluster and industry partners to align outreach efforts and share best practices

  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and coordination.

  • Develop and manage a social media strategy to promote cadetships and maritime careers across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and Facebook and monitor engagement metrics and trends to refine content and increase reach and impact.

  • Track and report on outreach impact, engagement metrics, and recruitment outcomes and use data to refine strategies and demonstrate return on investment.

This role sits at CUK09 level within our organisation and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. We operate a hybrid working model, with up to two days working from home. The role will require a significant amount of travel across the UK.

  • Proven experience in marketing, outreach, or recruitment, ideally within education, youth engagement, or maritime sectors.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively across organisations.

  • Experience working with schools, colleges, or youth organisations.
  • Knowledge of the UK maritime industry and cadet training pathways is desirable.
