Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support to the business. As a trusted advisor, the Legal Counsel will work closely with senior management and various departments to mitigate legal risks via effective contract review; resolve disputes; and assist with strategic decision-making.
Key accountabilities are set out in detail in the job description and include:
- Support internal teams on legal matters, ensuring all activities are aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts (e.g. supply of goods and services, IT, media agencies, sponsorship and more).
- Advising on pricing and advertising compliance (ASA/CAP Code, Trading Standards).
- Developing an understanding of applicable travel law including the Package Travel Regulations.
About You
Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you’ll also need to be a qualified solicitor with experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. We would welcome applications from lawyers with experience in Contract Law, Corporate Law, IT/Technology and/or Data Protection.
