The Role

To be a key member of the HAL/Seabourn team providing support and specialist attention to the brands trade key accounts, always providing high quality service, and always focusing on results.

To work within the Sales Centre and alongside the Business Development Team (BDT) & the Leadership Team to enhance support given to our highest performing trade partners. Managing those trade partners who require development & support in key areas to enhance the DACH distribution growth objectives and assisting in achieving our national DACH guest and revenue targets.

This role will provide key support in all areas in order that our key trade partners reach their maximum potential whilst selling our brands and that they choose HAL/Seabourn over our competitors.

To ensure that in line with the BDT, any developing key accounts grow their business with HAL/Seabourn to levels which means the DACH business continues to gain market share.

You will:

  • Deliver exceptional support and service to selected Key Travel Partners, managing inbound/outbound reservations, operational tasks, and email requests across both brands.

  • Strengthen key account relationships by providing dedicated sales and operational support, resolving guest issues, handling special requests, and assisting with pre- and post-cruise matters.

  • Manage group bookings and operations, including group setup, pricing queries, Alaska tour bookings, and coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and high conversion rates.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Flights, Pricing, Product, and BDT to support promotions, pricing updates, and improve Polar Online adoption.

  • Mentor and support Key Accounts Back Ups, overseeing quality and efficiency of their work, and providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance assessment.


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK11 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to three days from home or fully remote working available.


About You


Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you’ll also need:

•Fluent in German and English. 

•Experience in sales/customer services/travel

• Clear and concise communicator

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• PC literate

• Experience of using Excel and Outlook

• Working knowledge of Polar reservations system

• Experience of working with HAL/SBN Travel Partner
