If you answered yes to our question, Carnival UK has an exciting role that could be a great next step in your career! We are recruiting for a Junior Analystto join our friendly and welcoming team, providing support for Maritime reporting and analysis.

This is a full time, 12 month fixed term role that is offered on a hybrid working basis, working up to three days a week at home and the remainder from our offices in Southampton.

The Role

Our Junior Analyst position is an exciting and varied role that will be reporting on anything and everything relating to the Maritime department, ranging from Crew Booster Vaccine projects to Fleet Compliance reporting. You’ll also have opportunities to work in support of Continuous Improvement project management teams across the Maritime function.

In addition, you will:

  • Assist in completing scheduled reporting to Maritime teams on time, ensuring accuracy, integrity and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated commentaries to summarise key drivers of results and performance.

To be considered as a Junior Analyst you will also need:

  • To be competent in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience of working in an office or similar environment.
  • Educated to A Level or higher.

If this role requires you to visit and/or work on a Carnival UK ship, the successful candidate needs to be fully vaccinated (with a WHO or MHRA approved two-dose COVID-19 vaccination course or single-dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine), including any relevant booster vaccinations. This is to maintain a safe environment onboard and reduce the risk of outbreaks, to protect our crew and our Guests. It's also required for ships to dock and enjoy shoreside visits in many Ports of Call on global itineraries. This requirement will be under regular review.
