The Role

To be a key member of the Reservations Team by being the voice of our brands - Holland America Line & Seabourn. Exceeding guest expectations always, to enhance the reservation and cruising experience, whilst focusing on performance and results.

To be fluent in German and English speaking and writing, to provide Concierge service to our German speaking guests.

You will:

•       Receive and respond to in-bound calls and emails, providing genuine and intuitive service that delights our Travel Advisors and Consumers 

•       Take priority responsibility for all German Seabourn in-bound and out-bound calls and emails in the UK & Europe market

•       Complete translation tasks from English to German and German to English

•       Support the UK & European Seabourn sales team with written and verbal communication with German speaking Travel Advisors and other internal and external relationships

•       Handle precise requests and special projects, for example Champion Roles including specialities such as Destinations/Brand/ Engagement etc


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK13 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to two days from home.


About You

•                Fluent in German and English

•                Clear and concise communicator excellent verbal and written communication skills

•                Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages 

•                Strong planning skills – able to organise and prioritise work

•                Resilient – Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

•                Be a native German speaker who is fluent in English 

•                Love positivity and have an infectious enthusiasm and 'can-do' attitude

•                Thrive on making people happy, by providing genuine and intuitive service 

•                Express themselves easily and explain things clearly

•                Display great attention to detail and have strong administrative capabilities

•                Love working with others and be a strong team player
