The Role

As a Director, Platform Delivery, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the technological direction of Carnival UK and our ships, ensuring we continue to deliver unforgettable holiday happiness. Your leadership will not only shape our technological advancements but also inspire a team of technology professionals to excel in their roles.

Key accountabilities include:

• Own the end-to-end delivery, evolution and performance of DTO platforms, ensuring stability, scalability, security and alignment with the DTO technology strategy.
• Shape platform roadmaps, balancing investment in new capability with technical debt reduction while maintaining platform reliability and operational readiness.
• Lead and develop high-performing platform delivery teams, building strong technical, engineering, architectural and operational capability.
• Act as the senior integration point across platform, product and shared service teams, managing dependencies and ensuring platform change enables product delivery.
  

Job Requirements

This role demands a blend of strategic vision & technical expertise. We're looking for someone with:

• Significant experience leading large-scale platform delivery within complex digital and technology environments.
• A proven track record of delivering resilient, secure and scalable technology platforms that enable strategic business outcomes.
• Strong commercial, engineering and operational judgement, including experience managing strategic vendors and significant technology portfolios.
• A degree-level qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
