Job Description

Carnival UK is at a pivotal moment of transformation, and we're looking for a Director, Organisational Development to shape how our business evolves for the future. Organisational design, workforce evolution, new ways of working and employee experience are central to delivering exceptional outcomes for our guests and colleagues.

As the business behind P&O Cruises and Cunard, we're shaping the future of holiday happiness through innovation, outstanding leadership and a relentless focus on continuous improvement. This is a senior leadership opportunity to turn ambitious strategy into lasting organisational impact.

As Director, Organisational Development, you'll lead Carnival UK's enterprise organisational development and people transformation agenda, partnering with executive leaders to evolve how the organisation is structured, operates and enables its people to thrive. Spanning onboard and shoreside teams, this role will help turn strategic ambition into future-ready operating models, sustainable change, enhanced colleague experiences and stronger organisational effectiveness, enabling our people to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key accountabilities:

• Lead the enterprise organisational development and people transformation agenda, translating business strategy into future-ready operating models, ways of working and transformation programmes that enhance organisational effectiveness and employee experience.

• Own the organisational design governance model, setting enterprise standards and acting as the senior gatekeeper for structural change.

• Oversee and prioritise the transformation portfolio, ensuring alignment, adoption, benefits realisation and sustainable business outcomes.

• Provide trusted advice to senior leaders, bringing external insight, critical thinking and constructive challenge to complex organisational and transformation decisions.

Job Requirements

This role demands a blend of strategic vision and technical expertise. We're looking for someone with:

• Extensive expertise in organisational development, people transformation, operating models and enterprise governance.

• Experience shaping organisation structures, ways of working and decision-making frameworks that support strategic and sustainable business outcomes.

• The ability to use data, governance discipline and commercial insight to inform complex transformation and organisational decisions.

• Extensive experience operating, influencing and negotiating at executive and C-suite level.

About You

Your ability to think strategically, drive results with integrity and inspire your team is what sets you apart. You're not just a People professional; you're a visionary leader ready to make a significant impact.

• You bring innovative thinking, a digital mindset and the confidence to constructively challenge established approaches.

• You create simplicity and structure from complexity, balancing competing priorities and senior stakeholder demands.

• You align stakeholders around a shared vision and build support for disciplined, sustainable change.

• You combine strategic consulting and systems thinking with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels.
