Cunard has big plans for the future and we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Assistant to join our Cunard Digital Content Team. The digital team is responsible for driving and maintaining the Cunard digital presence across the entire customer journey.

The scope of the team’s responsibilities includes managing the content, optimisation and development of the brand website and the content of the voyage-specific portals.

The Role

In this role you will be reporting to the Manager, Digital Content and will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and quality of new and existing content and features on the brand website; using software to help identify and resolve broken links, making requested content updates that come in from the wider business and our SEO agency, and authoring new site features in the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS.

You will act as the primary Cunard author for all new site features being developed by the cross-brand development team. You will identify issues with how content is to be authored and act as the Cunard brand guardian using exceptional attention to detail to ensure adherence to Brand standards and guidelines.

You will ensure all authoring is done in a timely manner and carry out any content updates to the sited to improve SEO (e.g updating metadata and alt text).

To be considered for this position you will need to have previous experience of working with a CMS to create web pages as well as a customer-focused approach to web page creation and content curation.

If this role requires you to visit and/or work on a Carnival UK ship, the successful candidate needs to be fully vaccinated (with a WHO or MHRA approved two-dose COVID-19 vaccination course or single-dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine), including any relevant booster vaccinations. This is to maintain a safe environment onboard and reduce the risk of outbreaks, to protect our crew and our Guests. It's also required for ships to dock and enjoy shoreside visits in many Ports of Call on global itineraries. This requirement will be under regular review.

The Cunard Sales and Marketing team are instrumental in the success of Cunard and our aim to be the benchmark of luxury travel.  Our marketing teams maximise opportunity and create focused, meaningful communications that help to grow existing audiences as well as appealing to new ones.  We have experts across advertising, CRM, brand, PR, digital, loyalty and the creative studio who work together collaboratively to create unforgettable holiday happiness.  Our sales teams develop and grow partnerships ensuring they have the finest knowledge of our products.
