Carnival Corporation are in search of a Data Solutions Manager, who is crucial in supporting our Corporate direction and nurturing a high-performing team. 

Role Overview
Carnival Corporation is seeking a Data Solutions Manager, a pivotal role in driving our corporate data strategy and leading a high-performing team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about data management, experienced in major data projects, and skilled in SQL with a strong understanding of asset management within a maritime context.

As the Data Solutions Manager, you will lead a dedicated data scrum team—including scrum masters, business analysts, and technical data specialists—to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues. You’ll act as the first point of escalation for data challenges and serve as the architect for innovative solutions generation that support global data initiatives. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and optimization of data across our asset management systems. Which enables our ships to operate safely and efficiently.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and mentor the data scrum team to resolve complex data issues and deliver long-term solutions.
  • Prioritise and manage open data issues, ensuring timely resolution and operational continuity.
  • Apply advanced SQL skills and data management expertise to design and implement robust asset management solutions.
  • Drive major data projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global standards.
  • Serve as the data solution architect, influencing strategy and best practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate with brand data contacts and stakeholders to ensure seamless data operations.

Requirements: Your Expertise and Leadership
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in data management and leading major data projects related to asset management.
  • Strong SQL skill set and ability to work with complex data models.
  • Strong background in asset management processes, with knowledge of how asset data is handled in a maritime environment.
  • Experience with PMS systems, ideally AMOS, or similar platforms.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities to develop and inspire your team.
