In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Cunard & P&O Cruises, we are seeking Compliance Consultant, to bring fresh insights and expertise to our P&O Cruises Onboard Revenue & Product department.
Role Overview
The Compliance Consultant is a critical member of the Shore Experience team, working across both brands to actively manage compliance in all areas of the Shorex business, including supplier management, product development, operational delivery, invoicing, and sustainability. The Shorex business is complex, working with a global supply base of over 200 suppliers to deliver a programme of over 4000 unique experiences. It is essential to achieve compliance through active management of processes, specifications, and regulations, continuously improving to maximize resources, reduce business risk, and gain guest trust.
This pivotal role will involve:
- Lead the management of the destination assurance system and process across the business, coordinating reviews, supplier assessments, and operator contracts. Fully assist the product development and demand planning cycle, coordinating contract extension deadlines, and managing information requests with suppliers.
- Ensure required levels of insurance are in place through active supplier management and collaboration with Carnival Corp. Identify defects, prepare and present business cases for exemptions, including level of risk, legal implications, and impact on guest experience. Ensure financial compliance through the active management of all Shorex invoicing, including coding failed records, credit memos, and self-service invoices in Markview (Accounts Payable system). Prioritizing supplier assessments in line with product delivery dates. Working with suppliers to successfully implement destination assurance across the Shorex programme.
- Support the Destination team in the procurement process and contracting of tour operators across the globe. Support on-board team members with troubleshooting issues with tour settlement. Collaborative approach with the product team, procurement, and partners to overcome challenges, highlight any required escalations and issues.
This role is positioned at CUK10 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time 12 month fixed term basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
