An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial analyst to take on a key position within Carnival UK’s Finance Partnering team as a Senior Commercial Analyst, Finance Partnering on a permanent basis.
Carnival UK (which operates the P&O Cruises and Cunard Brands) will grow as we add new ships to the fleet and further transform the industry by making cruising a mainstream holiday for UK guests.

The Role
With their analytical minds and the ability to think outside of the box, our Commercial Analysts spot trends and ideas where other people might just see a jumble of data. You’ll be an innovative thinker, working cross functionally across the business and thrive in a varied role. This means that strong interpersonal skills are key, along with critical thinking and a genuine interest in understanding how our business operates. In this role you’ll be:
- Building and managing complex analysis of key commercial priorities of the business
- Investigating the impact of specific activities on results
- Providing the analytics on projects and deeper dive analysis on our risks & opportunities

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, partly working from home and partly in our office in the heart of Southampton.
About You
To be considered as our next Senior Commercial Analyst within the Finance Partnering team, you will need to possess strong business acumen and be able to demonstrate your commercial awareness.
You’ll be an effective communicator with experience in financial, economic, statistical analysis and/or modelling. Naturally curious, you’ll be adept at creating strong relationships with your stakeholders and be comfortable using your own perspective & judgement to proactively challenge and provide insight.
Holding a relevant accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA would be beneficial to your application
