We are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Executive to join us on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment in our Finance team.

For at least two days a week, you’ll be based out of our fantastic offices in the heart of Southampton, less than two hours from central London. In our hybrid working environment, you can also expect to balance this with time spent working remotely every week.

The Role

In this role you will be the subject matter expert for systems and processes relating to Accounts Receivable. In the immediate short term, you will be instrumental in the reconciliation of Covid related bookings and Key Travel Agent partners to achieve booking resolution. You will ensure accuracy of data pertaining and used for collection and reporting of debt, share and provide guidance as required.

You will be taking on tracking and reporting of trends feeding into a robust and visible monthly forecast submission & reporting pack and ensuring you maintain compliance with industry regulations and ensure effective transactional cost management.

You will work with other areas of Finance, the business and internal and external auditors to ensure policy and process compliance

About You

To be considered for this position you will need to have previous experience of financial systems ideally within the travel industry and/or financial services. You will be proficient with Microsoft office and use your knowledge of key systems and processes effectively to guide other users.

You will have clear and concise communication skills along with strong planning skills with the ability to organise and prioritise work.

You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

If this role requires you to visit and/or work on a Carnival UK ship, the successful candidate needs to be fully vaccinated (with a WHO or MHRA approved two-dose COVID-19 vaccination course or single-dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine), including any relevant booster vaccinations. This is to maintain a safe environment onboard and reduce the risk of outbreaks, to protect our crew and our Guests. It's also required for ships to dock and enjoy shoreside visits in many Ports of Call on global itineraries. This requirement will be under regular review.
