We are looking for a Product Manager. This position is for a highly motivated individual primarily responsible for understanding the company’s accounting processes impacting our HAL and SBN pre/post and cruise tour accounts, including but not limited to passenger transfers, pre and post cruise hotels, shore excursions, and Alaska tours. This individual must also be able to develop professional relationships with various business partners, analyze and decipher finance/accounting data to accurately review the department’s reporting obligations. He/she must be able to identify problems and develop innovative solutions to further efforts toward continuous process improvements. In addition, he/she must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and be able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure and strict deadlines
This role will typically be challenged with ensuring the best-in-class tour programs, meeting the needs of our demographic, ensuring sufficient capacity to accommodate demand and to secure optimal program spread. This role is also challenged to maintain competitive product costs and stay abreast of new trends to optimize sales.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries on a monthly basis.
Provide ad hoc analyses to operating departments and management as needed.
Present results of reconciliations and analyses to upper management and operating departments.
Prepare timely and accurate financial information for HAL and Seabourn from information contained within Polar reservation and our AP/invoice systems.
Assist Manager with various duties including but not limited to training new employees, ad hoc analysis and projects, improving procedures, and month end close duties.
Knowledge & Skills:
Scope: This position works closely with our operations partners: Pre/Post & Transfers Operations and Commercial/Marketing. We communicate Financial results to this non-Finance audience, problem-solve alongside these partners, and incorporate their feedback & needs in our analyses.
Problem solving is a crucial element to this role. Efficiency in Excel, comfort with large quantities of data, and being able to present/communicate key findings is integral to success.
Impact: Not only is this position responsible for accurate and timely delivery of financial data, but our reconciliation prep and analysis is essential in identifying and explaining variances. Our findings can identify operational anomalies; we partner with the operations teams to explain and ultimately correct these findings, which has an impact on financial results, operational efficiency, and/or cost savings.
Leadership: Although this position does not have direct reports, it requires a strong commitment to teamwork, organization and communication. Requires ability to work with and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Need to be a self-starter and responsible for own work product, while also working with Manager to prioritize the needs of the overall team & our business partners.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions: Work beyond normal business hours or on weekends may be required occasionally to support business needs, projects, or operations.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
This position is classified as “Hybrid.” As a Hybrid role, it requires employees to work from a designated Holland office Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays.

- Base Salary Range: $71,200 to $96,100. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
