We’re looking for an amazing Senior Manager, Market Performance to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for managing a Commercial Portfolio and leading the Commercial activation to achieve NTR. This role involves a high degree of analytical and managerial skills. The Senior Manager will be instrumental in crafting a Commercial Plan, managing the cross-functional activation plan to drive demand in-market and driving insights. The ideal candidate will have analytical and planning skills. Additionally, the Senior Manager will manage teams to drive optimal occupancy and pricing performance, develop pricing strategies, and coordinate with commercial teams to implement worldwide pricing strategies and promotional initiatives. This role is responsible for an org size of 2 - 3.

Responsibilities
Execution & Performance
The Senior Manager is responsible for reviewing data and providing a thorough analysis of their findings. They must be able to turn data into hypothesis and work well with varying levels of different points-of-view.
Pull together a comprehensive plan to support demand generation according to booking curves and NTR expectation
Support the ongoing analysis of data, reviewing day-to-day inputs and booking trends/sources/channels overtime.
Help monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth including onboard revenue channels and negotiating on behalf of the brand.
Provide the commercial plan for Alaska operations and initiatives in the Revenue
Management Space.
Help the VP in evaluating data and metrics from both ship and shore and provide monthly analysis to executive management complete with a view on future performance across Alaska scope.
Innovation Leadership & Process Improvement
Evaluate the current approach to revenue management and pricing and recommend improvements supported by data analysis to achieve plan goals, develop appropriate metrics for tracking success, and identify opportunities addressing complex issues and execute multifaceted plans to drive net ticket revenue achievement.
Drive requirements for technology enhancements to support enhanced decision making.
leverage the newest technology to create visuals and reports to ensure leaders are making data-backed decisions.
High Performance Team Leadership
Build, lead, and provide coaching, counseling, and direction to direct reports to ensure their continued professional growth and development.
Provide visionary leadership to team of pricing professionals (managers and analysts), ensuring strategic alignment and a data-driven approach to pricing and revenue management.
Champion performance metrics, setting clear KPIs to measure team success and drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Collaboration
Collaborate with other departments to align market performance strategies with other short- and long-term priorities
Work with AVP, Revenue Management, VP, Revenue Management and Market Performance, and Director Alaska Planning and Marketing

Requirements
Undergraduate degree and MBA preferred. Must have +7 years of experience at a large corporation or firm.
Proven track record of developing and executing cross-functional initiatives.
Prepare, review, and analyze assigned initiatives to inform decisions.
Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to inform commercial decisions and present results.
Experience working in a global organization, or travel/hospitality industry is helpful but not required; Industry experience is desired.
Outstanding interpersonal skills (written and verbal) are required to communicate with cross-functional partners
Proven ability to develop successful commercial and operational strategies.
Must be organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel, particularly building/maintaining PowerPoint presentations, Tableau and/or PowerBi.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday.)
