We’re looking for an amazing Senior Manager, Maritime Information Systems to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle or Miami offices.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the administration and performance of technology platforms that support fleet operations across HAL, SBN, and PCL. This role manages escalations for unresolved technical issues, ensuring timely troubleshooting and configuration of systems such as NAPA Logbooks, Sea Event, Sea Safe, CAM Watch, and dry dock management tools. It involves planning and prioritizing deployments, coordinating software updates, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. The Senior Manager works closely with shipboard and shoreside leadership, shoreside teams, IT departments, and external vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements. A key responsibility includes overseeing the development and delivery of training materials, such as manuals and videos, for shipboard and shoreside users. The position also maintains direct communication with shipboard leadership and staff, participates in fleet leadership calls, and gathers feedback to improve system performance. Additionally, this role drives process standardization and alignment across brands to support efficiency and best practices. It also oversees the preparation and review of weekly Flash Reports summarizing incidents for executive leadership. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Maritime Operations, or a related field, or equivelent experiance
Strong understanding of maritime regulatory requirements and operational compliance standards.
Proficiency in system administration and configuration for enterprise-level platforms.
Demonstrated ability to manage change control processes and liaise with IT governance boards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and multi-brand coordination.
Ability to travel as needed for shipboard visits and stakeholder engagement.
6+ years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, maritime technology, or operational systems management.
Proven track record in managing complex deployments and troubleshooting across multiple platforms in a high-stakes environment.
Experience leading large teams of professionals or junior managers, including resource planning and performance oversight.
Strong background in vendor management and cross-functional collaboration with IT and operational teams.
Expertise in developing training programs and knowledge transfer strategies for diverse audiences.
Hands-on experience with maritime systems such as NAPA Logbooks, Sea Event, Sea Safe, and similar operational platforms.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements for efficiency and compliance.

- Base Salary Range: $120,000.00 to $135,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
