We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Food and Beverage Performance Development to fill this hybrid role which is based out of our Seattle office. In this critical role you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of food and beverage performance development. You’ll oversee the development and implementation of performance metrics, budgets, and growth targets for the food and beverage department while managing shipboard activities and processes, partnering with shipboard personnel to drive performance improvements. You’ll emphasize system thinking and rapid innovation to continuously enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction and work cross-collaboratively with product development teams to ensure tests and implementations are measured and followed up on. You’ll focus on data-driven decision-making, strategic planning, cost control, and quality assurance to maximize revenue and profitability while adhering to operational standards and guest expectations.
To succeed, you must be a self-starter who can work independently and be a strong team player who contributes to the effectiveness of the broader Guest Experience & Product Development team while collaborating with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure the successful execution of initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance food and beverage performance.
- Oversee the creation and management of budgets to maximize growth and profitability.
- Ensure quality assurance and cost control measures are in place and adhered to.
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and customer service departments to drive performance improvements.
- Manage shipboard activities and processes, partnering with shipboard personnel to achieve targets.
- Collaborate with business partners in product development to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with budgets and target.
- Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the food and beverage department.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the department remains competitive and aligned with guest expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5 years’ experience on cruise ships or shoreside related multi-unit management (Regional Manager or District Manager) in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong interpersonal leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong budgetary and cost control understanding.
- Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
- Experienced service professional with up-to-date knowledge of service trend.s
- Strong technical literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Point of Sale Systems, and table management software.
- Team building skills.
- Experienced service professional with up-to-date knowledge of service trends
- Ability to manage change effectively.
- Experience making presentations in front of groups.
- Knowledge of USPH, Sanitation and HAACP practices.
- Marketing and promotional knowledge.

Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

- Base Salary Range: $100,000.00-$135,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
