We’re looking for an experienced Senior Specialist, Email and CRM Campaigns to fill this critical role based in our Seattle office. You’ll accelerate the execution of email and CRM campaigns to maximize cruise bookings/conversion on hollandamerica.com and increase retention marketing efforts through our CRM & CDP automation platforms, applying hands-on development of lifecycle journeys and trigger email/push/SMS/web push, etc. campaigns. You’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing a range of marketing campaigns and strategic journey/trigger campaigns to drive bookings while providing a personalized guest experience. You are a seasoned marketing professional (especially with email) and a "can do" attitude who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with cross-functional team members and departments across the organization, including Marketing, E-Commerce, Creative Services and Revenue Management.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, automate, and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns—including email, landing pages, SMS, and push notifications—leveraging CRM and CDP platforms to drive purchase conversions. Continuously identify and implement opportunities to introduce new email triggers or optimize existing ones for enhanced engagement and performance.

  • Own the development and execution of the test-and-learn roadmap for email CRM campaigns, including strategic scheduling, performance analysis, and actionable insights. Drive continuous optimization by identifying key opportunities for experimentation, audience segmentation, and message personalization to enhance engagement and conversion outcomes.

  • Lead project coordination with integrated marketing and cross-functional teams to align campaign calendars, ensuring timely execution, maximizing audience reach, and minimizing scheduling conflicts.

  • Develop and maintain responsive e-mail templates, troubleshoot issues, and stay abreast of technology advances and internal segmentation rules.

  • Test, analyze, and report on campaign performance on a recurring basis. Identify trends and opportunities for improved KPIs and conversion rates.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing and/or equivalent experience

  • 4 to 6 years professional marketing experience

  • 2+ years of Iterable or other ESP experience

  • Experience using Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Excel

  • Accurate, thorough, with strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience using a CRM/CDP platform, Responsys/Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus

  • Strong Project Management skills

  • Expert on e-mail marketing best practices, technologies, trends and GDPR, CAN-SPAM laws

  • Proven experience in A/B and multivariate test design, execution, and analysis 

  • Strong HTML knowledge 

  • Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive, self-starter who is excited to learn about and implement new types of marketing programs

  • Working with cross-functional teams and coordinating different projects

  • Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust, resulting in effective working relationships across the company.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

  • Base Salary Range: $72,200.00-$97,500.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
