We’re looking for an amazing Sales Support Coordinator professional to fill this role, which is a remote-work-from-home position. You’ll be responsible for supporting the Personal Cruise Sales Consultants (PCCs) administratively and by providing information and high level customer service to the direct consumer guest.

Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Sales Support Coordinator. Is this you? 


  • Assists Personal Cruise Sales Consultants to increase sales and market share on Holland America Line cruises and Alaska Land and Sea Journeys.
  • Primary resource for non-revenue related requests for PCC guests (provides information and resolves issues with items such as dining arrangements, express documents, special requirements, etc.) after the guest has made a reservation.
  • Processes all Siebel Service Requests, research and resolve all database ownership conflicts (multiple PCC assignments for one reservation).
  • Assigns incoming referred leads from other departments evenly to PCCs per department policy.
  • Responsible for handling department returned mail, incoming email and voicemail boxes.
  • Resolves problems, completes exchanges with existing PCC customers when the PCC is not available and assists with cruise pricing, payment collection and group finalization.
  • Ensures prompt high level of service to all internal and external clients.
  • Provides support to department management staff, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • One (1) year experience in positions in the area of customer service and sales preferred.
  • Experience in the travel and hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-volume call center is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: proven ability to positively interact with individuals at all levels
  • Possesses a track record of personal goal achievement and support to department objectives
  • Possesses strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused despite distractions
  • Must be self-motivated, a self-starter and quick learner
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to work independently
  • Computer proficiency with Windows and aptitude to learn other systems
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines is required.
