We’re looking for an experienced Revenue Management Support Agent to fill this hybrid role which is based out of our Seattle office. In this critical role you’ll be responsible for building, auditing, and maintaining various areas of our POLAR reservations system including voyages and all voyage components, system files, fare tables, pay/penalty records, important notifications, Taxes, Fees and Port Expenses (TF&PE), promotions and all promotion components, air tables, air discounts, Tour Definitions (TDEFs), agencies and all agency components.

You’ll review strategic pricing files, itineraries, promotional action plans, and other miscellaneous requests to load data into POLAR for accuracy, adherence to brand policies and SOX guidelines, and ensure proper support of POLAR/Global Distribution System (GDS)/Web functionality and limitations. You’ll also take inbound calls and respond to e-mails in department inboxes, troubleshoot reported system errors, and test bug fixes and new functionality.

Finally, you’ll coordinate and manage product build timelines and effectively communicate expectations and deadlines to all teams involved. This includes tracking progress and communicating any potential delays to management and following up if necessary to ensure successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Build and audit voyage, promotion, and agency data in POLAR to support product load, major sales initiatives, and general maintenance.
  • Maintain the shared promotional inbox by reviewing, building, and auditing action plans and properly retaining proofs.
  • Maintain the shared agency inbox by processing requests, responding to inquiries, and properly retaining proofs.
  • Maintain shared documents, reference materials, and user guides.
  • Utilize Power BI reporting to perform light analysis of relevant POLAR data.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by Lead or Manager.
  • Perform systems testing for bug fixes and new functionality.
  • Service inbound calls from travel advisors and call center agents. Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months reservations experience (internal only).
  • Knowledge of POLAR Reservation System preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written oral and communications skills.
  • Ability to work well with individuals at all skill levels.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and complete work within time constraints.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

  • Base Hourly Range: $16.83-$22.69. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
