We’re looking for an experienced Specialist, Integrated Marketing to fill this critical role based in our Seattle office. In this critical roll you’ll be responsible for leading the development of consumer- and trade-facing marketing campaigns and programs to drive demand, awareness, customer acquisition, and site traffic. You work in partnership with marketing channel owners, Revenue Management, and Sales teams to ensure campaigns and initiatives are integrated and aligned to overall marketing strategy and business priorities, guided by passenger goals. You also write comprehensive creative briefs and collaborate with Marketing Operations to bring the plan to life visually. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in project management brand/product storytelling and the ability to guide cross-functional groups to a cohesive and integrated output.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of campaigns and activations that ladder to a 12-month Global Marketing Calendar and align with approved brand and product messaging. Partner with the VP of Integrated Marketing to gain internal alignment. Creates comprehensive creative briefs rooted in consumer insights and campaign deliverables as assigned. Gains alignment with internal cross-functional teams and presents brief to creative teams, channel owners and/or external creative agency.

  • Collaborate with and motivate a cross-functional team of global marketing channel owners to develop integrated marketing plans that deliver on business priorities. Ensure alignment, integration and timely launch of all plans. Schedule appropriate meetings to ensure all channel owners are informed. Coordinates with integrated and email marketing teams to manage consumer email marketing content proposals, trafficking and approvals.

  • Craft and present a comprehensive and motivating brief for all campaigns to marketing channel owners, internal Marketing Operations and/or external creative agency.

  • Manage communication around calendar updates/shifts to assure all stakeholders have clear understanding on what content to feature in their channels and how they ladder back to overall strategic priorities.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations team to ensure all messaging and visual representations ladder back to overall campaign goals.

  • Establish campaign timelines and milestone dates in collaboration with Marketing Operations team and inform necessary teams (Marketing, Revenue, Sales, PR, Contact Center). Milestone dates often include creative brief; rounds of stakeholder review; campaign report and more. Route and distribute campaign proofs to relevant stakeholders and gain alignment of feedback to ensure a timely launch of all campaigns. Schedule appropriate meetings to ensure all channel owners are informed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in marketing or related profession preferred. Equivalent experience accepted.

  • 3+ years of experience in brand or product marketing.

  • Project Management Certification a plus.

  • Strong PowerPoint & presentation skills.

  • Working knowledge of Excel & Word.

  • Highly agile with strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with ability to see both the “big picture” and daily details.

  • Strong creative, planning and conceptual skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and effective working relationships.

  • Ability to anticipate cross-departmental impacts of decisions.

  • Proactive, self-starter excited to learn and implement new marketing programs.

  • Proven experience in collaboration, influence, and gaining consensus across teams.

  • Comfortable working with all levels within an organization and “managing up”.

  • Experience with Asana (project management tool) is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust, resulting in effective working relationships across the company.

  • Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect other departments’ operations and/or morale.

  • Proactive, self-starter and excited to learn about and implement new types of marketing program.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

  • Base Salary Range: $88,100.00-$119,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
