We’re looking for an amazing Business Intelligence Report Developer to fill this role. You’ll be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable reports that support our core clients. This role involves designing, building, deploying, and maintaining BI solutions, performing testing and troubleshooting, and partnering with non-technical business personnel to gather requirements. The Developer, Business Intelligence Report will work closely with the Crew Management Reporting, Analytics and Solutions Team within the Crew Operations organization to provide timely operational information, make data-driven decisions, and gain valuable insights. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of Power BI, high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL, and strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • The Developer, Business Intelligence Report will design, build, deploy, and maintain BI solutions using platforms such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel. This includes developing ad-hoc reports, scorecards, dashboards, and automated reports. They will ensure the accuracy and reliability of BI solutions through rigorous testing and troubleshooting, and continuously work to improve the BI development lifecycle.
  • Possessing high-level subject matter expertise in data modeling, data sourcing, data quality, and BI delivery solutions is essential. The Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. They will apply a strong understanding of data visualization best practices and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction.
  • The Developer will utilize a variety of programming languages and applications such as MS SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Power BI, and Excel. They will demonstrate expertise in the design, development, and formatting of tabular reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards with drill-down capability. Supporting testing phases with users, experience with version control and data governance, and familiarity with iterative development and Agile Scrum practices are also important.
  • Effective communication and collaboration are key aspects of this role. The Developer will meet frequently with business owners to discuss needs and effectively communicate technical solutions at a business level. Partnering with non-technical business personnel to gather requirements and communicating complex concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders are crucial. Supporting and upholding our Culture Essentials is also a significant part of the role.
  • The Developer will approach challenges with a can-do spirit, analytical mind, and problem-solving skills. They will work independently and collaboratively on additional duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the manager. Demonstrating confidentiality and strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through is essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote is also required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Experience with Tableau and SSRS is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power App, Power Automate, Microsoft List, etc.)
  • Expertise in the design, development, and formatting of tabular reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards with drill-down capability.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, DAX formulas, and custom visualizations.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with iterative development and Agile Scrum practices.
  • Experience with supporting testing phases with users.
  • Experience with version control and data governance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality and strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power App, Power Automate, Microsoft List, etc.)

This position follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with flexibility to work remotely the remainder of the week.

  • Base Salary Range: $86,500 to $116,800. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
