The Senior Treasury Analyst role supports critical cash management functions, bank account administration, SOX and internal controls, and letters of credit/bank guarantees. In addition to working closely with our banks and internal business partners (including accounts payable, cash operations, payroll, legal, and tax), this position involves considerable Treasury project related work including data analytics, and ongoing process improvement initiatives. The role is part of a small Princess brand-centric Treasury team, and entails working in a fast paced, high volume treasury operations environment.
This role supports processing Treasury wires across various banking platforms utilizing multi-currency payment types, daily cash positioning, and short and medium term cash forecasting including variance analysis.
The incumbent will have oversight of bank account administration across a variety of countries, currencies and legal entities. This includes opening and closing accounts, bank resolution and authorized signer updates, researching banking services and diligently maintaining accurate bank account records. In addition to day-to-day treasury operational activities, will also action various SOX and compliance deliverables, as well as Treasury projects and various process improvement projects throughout the year.
Additionally, this role will involve forecasting and cash management of cash onboard all ships within the Princess fleet. The incumbent will also coordinate with the various banks and arranging cash deliveries via several armored car courier vendors across multiple global regions.

Responsibilities:
Treasury Function responsibilities: Prepare, review, and analyze assigned regional and currency forecasts and cash position worksheets to recommend cash liquidity management decisions. Provide back up to Treasury Analyst functions as needed. Initiate money market trades as as FX trades to buy/sell currencies. Liase with counterparties on settlement issues as required. Coordinate PCL Treasury bank account administration, including opening/closing accounts, signer updates, service changes/updates, and compliance reporting.
Engage in operational aspects of daily Treasury wire payments including reviewing wires prepared by Treasury Analysts, ensuring supporting documents are compliant in advance of approval and release. Troubleshoot complex wire payments and other banking issues.
Support the existing vessel cash funding process with oversight of one/two staff members and liaise with individual ship officers, banks and cash courier vendors as applicable.
Develop management analytics to support this function. Drive automation and enhancements to the current process.
Support Treasury process improvement projects related to strategic business changes. Provide regular project status updates.
Support manager with the preparation/coordination of annual Treasury compliance reviews for submission to Corporate Treasury.
Cash forecasting and liquidity management with decision making experience
Strong project management experience
Experience and/or understanding of FX trading and/or settlements
Wire creation and reporting in online banking portals
Knowledge of treasury SOX controls and bank KYC requirements
Intermediate excel skills (formatting, formulas, pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge & Skills:
Problem solving: Analyzes regional and currency cash forecasts to optimize liquidity management decisions and minimize funding risk. Resolves complex treasury payment, wire transfer, settlement, and banking-related issues across multiple banking platforms and jurisdictions. Identifies forecasting variances and develops actionable recommendations to improve cash visibility and accuracy. Evaluates and implements process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhanced treasury controls to increase operational effectiveness. Balances competing operational priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume treasury environment while maintaining compliance and risk mitigation standards.
Impact: - Ensures timely execution of treasury payments and vessel cash funding, supporting uninterrupted global business and shipboard operations. Protects organizational assets through strong bank account controls, SOX compliance, and treasury governance practices. Improves operational efficiency and decision-making through analytics, automation, and process optimization initiatives. Works with Manager to reduce financial, operational, and compliance risk through effective oversight of banking relationships, payment controls, and treasury processes.
Leadership: Provides functional oversight and guidance to Treasury Analysts and vessel cash funding staff while serving as a senior subject matter expert. Supports Manager with cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and external banking partners to drive treasury objectives and resolve issues. Champions continuous improvement initiatives, influencing process enhancements and automation strategies across treasury operations. Takes ownership of treasury compliance reviews, project reporting, and governance activities, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
Essential/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration
CTP certification desirable
Essential Experience Required:
- Minimum 5+ years of finance experience in corporate treasury, preferably with multinational experience.
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions:Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
