The Wardrobe Coordinator is responsible for the following tasks at Carnival Studios: scheduling and coordinating costume and shoe fittings for performers, organizing makeup classes, and arranging photo shoots related to CCL production shows. They also maintain and update performers' size charts, monitor inventory for show supplies, costumes, and sewing materials, report low stock levels, and place orders with vendors as needed. Additionally, they prepare and pack specific show supplies to be sent to the ships. This role requires strong communication with both shoreside and shipboard personnel regarding Production cast changes on board the ships and rehearsals at Carnival Studios.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate and schedule the cast's shoe and costume fittings, makeup classes, and photo shoots with the Studio’s supervisors using Airtable, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Monitor inventory and manage all inbound and outbound goods, ensuring they are accurately entered into Asset Panda and iProcurement. Properly store goods once processed, and place orders with vendors as needed using Asset Panda and iProcurement. Ensure consistent communication with vendors while placing orders, and address any bottlenecks or potential issues in operations.
  • Prepare and pack specific show supplies for shipment to the ships. Collaborate with the Wardrobe and Production Cast, and Entertainment Creative Development Team to ensure all tasks adhere to established guidelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Efficiently manage the entry, monitoring, and updating of size chart information for all cast members.
  • Provide additional support and assistance to Wardrobe Manager. 
  • Aid and provide support in the coordination of company meetings and events as need it.

Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s degree in Costume Design, Musical Theatre, or related field in Entertainment industry
  • 3+ years wardrobe, theatre costume shops, entertainment industry, cruise entertainment industry, performer, or comparable experiences
  • Ability to multitask, attention to detail and coordination skills, problem solve, creative thinking, work in fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
  • Working knowledge of wardrobe, costuming and makeup products.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds. May need to stand for long periods of time.

Travel: Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. May be requested to work a different shift.

This position is classified as “in-office.” Because of the nature of the role, employees are required to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida five days each week.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
