This role provides consulting support and tools to improve analyst performance and revenue maximization, while ensuring models reflect real-world behavior and business dynamics. The Analyst collaborates with product teams and leadership to validate model outputs and translate complex concepts into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of leading cross-functional projects and defining business problems with minimal guidance.
Job Functions:
Develop, enhance a variety of mathematical models (includes data collection, analysis, prototyping, testing, creation of production systems, and development of performance metrics)

Develop tools/reports for analysts and management to monitor business trends, forecasts, and customer behavior.
Consult/train analysts and management on use of science models and tools
Provide assistance to upper management by way of ad hoc analyses to answer a variety of business-related questions making data-driven decisions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
This role supports revenue management product team's decision making processes. It interacts with analysts, product managers, and senior leaders, contributing to successful operational execution.
The Analyst addresses complex business challenges involving multiple variables, operational constraints, and data limitations. The role requires the ability to define problems, evaluate modeling approaches, and develop solutions that reflect real-world behavior and drive performance improvements.
This position directly influences Science models' accuracy andRM analyst effectiveness in making weekly and daily pricing movements. The models and insights developed contribute to improve overall revenues, operational efficiency, and business understanding across Revenue Management department.
While the role does not have direct reports, it requires leadership in managing cross-functional teams and influencing analytical direction. The Analyst needs to communicate ideas and progresses effectively across levels, and drive initiatives forward with minimal guidance from the manager.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience preferred within a large corporation practicing revenue management science/data science or academic research on revenue management models and systems.
Master's degree in quantitative discipline such as Operations Research, Decision Science, Industrial Engineering, Applied Math or related field.
Ability to apply operations research and other advanced methodologies, such as forecasting, statistics, econometric modeling, linear programming and other optimization algorithms, and other quantitative techniques to develop models and methods to maximize revenues; advanced programming.
Experience with Operations Research and Statistics software/packages/tools; Highly skilled in SQL required.Exposure to SAS, Python, R, Tableau preferred.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.
Travel: No or very little travel likely.
Work Conditions:Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
