We are looking for an amazing Senior Manager, Predictive Analytics

to fill this role, which is based in our Doral office. The Senior Manager, Predictive Analytics is responsible for leading advanced analytics initiatives across multiple onboard revenue categories to drive data-driven decision making and incremental value generation for Princess Cruises. This role involves developing and implementing predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to optimize pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and revenue forecasting across the onboard revenue portfolio. The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams including revenue management, marketing, operations, and technology to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in predictive analytics, strong leadership skills, and experience in the cruise, hospitality, or retail industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of predictive models for demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and customer behavior analysis across all onboard revenue categories (Shorex, Photo, Retail, Spa, Art, Weddings). 
  • Build machine learning algorithms to identify revenue opportunities and optimize promotional strategies. 
  • Conduct statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate model performance and business impact.
  • Partner with AVP and cross-functional teams to define analytics requirements for commercial strategies. 
  • Develop analytical frameworks to support pricing decisions, product innovation, and promotional campaigns. 
  • Create predictive insights to support pre-cruise, onboard, and bundle strategies across all channels.                                                                        
  • Drive innovation in analytics methodologies and tools to enhance predictive capabilities. Implement advanced statistical techniques including customer segmentation, propensity modeling, and lifetime value analysis. 
  • Develop and maintain automated reporting and dashboards for executive decision-making.                                                                    
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists. Establish performance metrics and KPIs for analytics team success. 
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to build analytical capabilities within the organization.                                                                     
  • Collaborate with shipboard operations, marketing, and technology teams to implement analytics-driven solutions. 
  • Present complex analytical findings to executive stakeholders in clear, actionable formats. 
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • This role demands exceptional analytical problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex, multi-dimensional data challenges across diverse onboard revenue categories.
  • The Senior Manager will be expected to develop sophisticated predictive models, conduct advanced statistical analyses, and create innovative solutions to optimize pricing strategies and promotional campaigns. 
  • The position requires the ability to translate complex business questions into analytical frameworks, anticipate market trends and guest behavior patterns, and provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights. 
  • The role involves solving problems that have significant financial impact and require innovative approaches to data analysis and modeling.
  •  This position has direct impact on the performance of the onboard revenue portfolio through the development and implementation of predictive analytics solutions that drive pricing optimization, promotional effectiveness, and demand forecasting. 
  • The Senior Manager's work will significantly influence commercial strategies across all onboard revenue categories, directly affecting guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational efficiency. 
  • The role contributes to the overall strategic direction of Princess Cruises by providing data-driven insights that support executive decision-making and long-term business planning. 
  • The analytics solutions developed will have fleet-wide impact, affecting thousands of guests and millions of dollars in revenue.
  •  This role requires strong leadership capabilities including managing direct reports, developing analytical talent, and leading cross-functional initiatives. 
  • The Senior Manager will build and mentor a high-performing analytics team, establish clear performance metrics, and foster a culture of data-driven decision making. 
  • The position involves leading complex analytical projects, presenting to executive stakeholders, and influencing business strategy through compelling data storytelling.
  • The role requires the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and drive organizational change through analytics innovation.                                                                                                                                                

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field
  • Advanced expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and statistical software packages
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex analytical concepts to executive audiences
  • Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical inference.
  • Knowledge of database management and data warehousing concepts.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in predictive analytics, data science, or quantitative analysis roles.
  • Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience managing analytics teams.
  • Experience in revenue management, pricing optimization, or commercial analytics.
  • Proven track record of implementing analytics solutions that drive measurable business impact.
  • Experience in cruise, hospitality, retail, or travel industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience with customer analytics, segmentation, and lifetime value modeling.
  • Background in revenue optimization and pricing strategies.
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday)
