This role is responsible for assisting in managing key performance indicators such as guest counts, occupancy rates, Available Lower Berth Days (ALBDs), voyage counts, and operating days. In addition to overseeing cancellation revenue and the vacation protection program, the Analyst delivers precise, profit-maximizing charter pricing to the Sales team. The position also supports strategic reporting efforts, including cabin configuration optimization, casino cabin ticket revenues, source country revenue analysis, and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) statistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced forecasting capabilities, and a strategic mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Job Functions:
Conduct strategic reporting and analysis on irregular operations and ad-hoc requests.
Create and deliver charter pricing and onboard revenue targets that are profit-maximizing and competitively structured for the Charter Sales team.
Develop and maintain daily revenue assessments for Passenger Revenue.
Manage and analyze key operational metrics, such as guest counts, occupancy rates, ALBDs, voyage counts, and operating days, to support accurate and timely reporting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
This role operates at the intersection of financial planning and operational strategy, with direct influence on revenue optimization across the fleet. The Analyst collaborates with multiple departments including Sales, Finance, and Operations, and contributes to both corporate and industry-level reporting. The reach of this role spans across global markets, impacting pricing strategies and revenue performance for international source countries.
This position has a direct impact on the organization’s financial outcomes by shaping revenue forecasts and pricing strategies. The Analyst’s work informs executive decision-making, supports strategic planning, and contributes to the accuracy and effectiveness of revenue management practices. Additionally, the role influences industry reporting standards through contributions to CLIA and other external bodies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university required - Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
Master’s of Business Administration (M.B.A.) preferred. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university required.
1-3 years’ work experience in a related field. Previous experience in financial modeling preferred.
Must have proven business experience that demonstrates the successful application of analytical and decision-making skills. Excels in spreadsheet and database tools (i.e. Microsoft business tools, data warehouse query tools, Essbase).
Ability to present findings and insights to management in concise written and verbal presentations.
Self-motivated, detail oriented. Creative, independent thinker. Quick learner, curious and inquisitive.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions:Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
