Leading a team of three specialists, this role is responsible for managing and delivering a portfolio of initiatives including trade advertising and media, strategic account marketing, booking promotions and contests, sales materials, training content, and trade-facing communications.
This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, Digital, and agency teams to help bring programs to life, ensuring alignment with business priorities and brand standards. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader and collaborative partner with experience across print and digital marketing channels. They bring solid project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality, on-brand work that supports travel advisor engagement and sales effectiveness.
Essential Functions:
B2B Media & Advertising
Supports the planning and execution of trade media, webinars, and travel advisor promotions across print and digital channels. Assists in managing budgets, coordinating with agency partners, and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and align with established objectives and brand guidelines. Provides guidance to the team on campaign execution, supports creative development, and contributes insights on travel advisor engagement and media performance. Oversees specialists responsible for partner marketing execution, ensuring alignment with sales priorities and consistency in messaging.
Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Leads the day-to-day work of a team of specialists, providing direction, setting priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. Supports planning and execution of trade marketing initiatives, helping translate business needs into actionable plans and deliverables. Collaborates with cross-functional partners including Sales, Brand, PR, Digital, and external agencies to support alignment and effective execution of programs. Provides support on key initiatives and helps ensure projects progress smoothly within established timelines and budgets.
Sales Messaging and Promotions
Leads the development and execution of sales materials and promotions that support travel advisor engagement and booking growth. Oversees the creation of sales decks, presentations, and marketing materials, ensuring they are accurate, on brand, and delivered on time. Supports the management of promotions, contests, and engagement programs by coordinating execution, tracking results, and assisting in budget oversight to ensure initiatives are effective and well-managed.
Oversees the execution and ongoing updates of training content and tools that support travel advisor education. Works with the team to ensure materials are relevant, accurate, and aligned with business priorities. Supports the delivery of training programs and webinars by guiding content development and monitoring engagement and feedback to identify areas for enhancement.
Print & Digital Brochures
Manages the development and production process for key print and digital materials such as the annual cruise brochure and Travel Advisor Ship Guide. Coordinates with internal teams and external partners to deliver materials that meet brand standards, timelines, and budget expectations. Tracks distribution and usage metrics to support planning and continuous improvement of materials year over year
Social Media & Website Content Marketing Provides oversight and direction to ensure trade-facing website and social content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand standards. Guides the team in executing content updates and supporting engagement across travel advisor platforms.
Ad Agency Partnership
Manages day-to-day relationships with agency partners, supporting project coordination, briefing processes, and execution tracking. Helps ensure deliverables meet expectations for quality, timelines, and alignment with brand standards.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Scope: Responsible for managing multiple trade marketing programs and initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business and brand objectives. Scope includes oversight of campaign execution, content development, and team deliverables across assigned workstreams. Works within defined budgets and supports performance tracking and reporting to monitor program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Problem solving: Manages multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, addressing challenges related to timelines, resource coordination, and execution quality. Evaluates information from stakeholders and partners to make informed decisions within established guidelines. Identifies issues as they arise and recommends practical solutions to support timely and effective execution. Adjusts plans as needed based on feedback, shifting priorities, or performance insights.
Impact: Supports the successful execution of trade marketing initiatives that enhance travel advisor engagement and contribute to sales effectiveness. Helps ensure marketing materials, promotions, and communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards. This contributes to improving program performance by supporting execution quality, tracking results, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
Leadership: Manages and develops a team of specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure strong performance and professional growth. Sets clear expectations, monitors progress and ensures accountability across team deliverables.
Promotes collaboration within the team and across cross-functional partners, helping maintain an organized, efficient, and positive working environment. Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in integrated marketing, advertising, brand management, or trade/partner marketing within an agency or fast‑paced corporate environment.
Proven7+ years of experience managing integrated campaigns across print, digital, B2B, and B2C channels.
Strong understanding of media planning, creative development, and budget management.
Demonstrated ability to provide creative direction, guide asset development, and ensure consistent brand messaging.
Excellent writing, editing, and presentation development skills, with the ability to produce executive‑level content.
Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple complex, concurrent workstreams on tight deadlines.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external agency partners to drive execution.
Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members while maintaining a collaborative, high‑performance culture. Must have proven experience managing direct reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and marketing/project management tools.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of programs, and proactively identify opportunities for process, creative, or performance improvement.
Experience supporting training programs, sales enablement tools, or advisor/partner engagement initiatives is preferred.
Cruise, travel, hospitality, or related industry experience is a plus but not required.
Travel: Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
