As the Manager – Global Sourcing Analytics, you’ll play a pivotal role within the Global Sourcing group managing the Global Travel, Global Gaming, and On-Board Media Content categories.  You will design and develop targeted dashboards and data visualizations, analyze data, and produce complex models used to evaluate business scenarios, identify sourcing opportunities, and support strategic sourcing projects. This role will leverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled workplace tools to improve reporting efficiency, accelerate insight generation, and enhance data-driven decision-making across the team.  You will serve as the team’s subject matter expert for Power BI, overseeing the integrity, accuracy, and functionality of new and existing dashboards while acting as the primary point of contact for Power BI-related questions.  As the Manager – Global Sourcing Analytics, you will work closely with the Global Travel, Global Gaming and On-Board Media Content Strategic Sourcing Teams in developing sourcing strategies and support implementation with those key partners. You will also support and/or lead most Team’s efforts and projects related to data and systems, automation, and responsible AI adoption by collaborating closely with the Center of Excellence, IT, Finance, and other relevant functions. 

Essential Functions:

  • Designs and develops targeted dashboards and data visualizations, leveraging diverse data sources, to support the strategic sourcing efforts of the Global Sourcing team. 

  • Analyses dashboards, reports, datasets, and trends to identify opportunities that inform negotiation strategies and develop actionable recommendations for the Global Travel, Global Gaming, and On-Board Media Content Sourcing Teams through in-depth analytic insights.

  • Support and/or lead most Team’s efforts and projects related to data management and analytics, AI, systems, and business optimization/automation, by collaborating closely with the Center of Excellence, IT, Finance, and other relevant functions.

  • Supports the Global Travel & Global Gaming Sourcing Team with project-based and ad-hoc data analytics, as needed.

  • Acts as the subject matter expert for PowerBI on the team, overseeing the integrity and proper functionality of new and existing dashboards, and being the main point of contact with questions related to PowerBI. 

  • Partners with the Center of Excellence and IT to identify and implement improved analytic tools and data structures/models, as well as the management of efforts related to the development, maintenance (including researching and resolving issues), accuracy, and hygiene of travel (air) transactional data. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Scope: Responsible for enterprise-wide sourcing analytics, data governance, and business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across Global Travel, Global Gaming, and On-Board Media Content sourcing categories.

  • Problem-solving: Analyzes complex and often ambiguous data issues, identifies trends and opportunities, and develops data-driven solutions that enhance sourcing strategies, operational efficiency, and business performance.

  • Impact: Influences sourcing decisions and negotiation strategies through actionable insights, optimized reporting, and improved data integrity, contributing to cost savings, risk mitigation, and achievement of strategic business objectives.

  • Leadership: Serves as the team's Power BI and analytics subject matter expert, leading cross-functional initiatives and partnering with COE, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, automation, and data governance efforts.

Essential/Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field preferred; Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced expertise in Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint-enabled business application environments.

  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Highly driven, self-motivated, and demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to enhance analytics, reporting, research, summarization, business process efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL, Oracle SQL Developer, SSRS, and T-SQL is preferred.

  • Knowledge of GDS platforms (Sabre and/or Amadeus) is preferred.

Essential experience required:

  • ​​5-8 years of experience in advanced analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics roles.

  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.

  • Proven ability to analyze large and complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.

  • Experience leveraging analytics to support strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, business decision-making, and operational improvement initiatives.

  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools responsibly to identify trends, uncover opportunities, generate insights, and improve business processes.

  • Air industry experience is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in Supply Chain and/or Strategic Sourcing environments preferred.

  • Experience working with travel data, sourcing data, or other enterprise-scale datasets and collaborating with cross-functional business, finance, and technology stakeholders preferred.

Travel: Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “in-office.”  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
