This role includes managing agency relationships, developing and executing communication strategies, planning and implementing loyalty promotions, and leading co-brand marketing efforts. Additionally, the Manager organizes and executes events to promote loyalty and co-brand programs.
Job Functions:
- Develops and executes communication strategies for loyalty programs. Creates and manages content for emails, newsletters, and social media. Collaborates with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging. Monitors and analyzes campaign effectiveness.
- Develops and executes loyalty program promotions to boost engagement and retention. Collaborates with cross-functional teams on promotional offers and campaigns. Monitors and reports on promotion performance. Identifies and enhances new promotional opportunities.
- Creates and executes marketing strategies for co-brand programs. Collaborates with partners on joint marketing campaigns. Manages co brand marketing budgets and tracks ROI. Analyzes market trends and competitor activities to guide strategies.
- Plans and executes events to promote loyalty and co-brand programs. Coordinates with internal teams and external vendors for successful execution. Creates event marketing materials and communication plans. Evaluates event success and identifies areas for improvement.
- Oversees relationships with external agencies for loyalty programs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives. Negotiates contracts, manages budgets, and conducts performance reviews, providing feedback to agencies.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams (marketing, analytics, customer service, IT) to ensure alignment and support for initiatives. Prepares and presents reports to senior management. Builds strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Supports leadership in developing long-term strategies for loyalty and cobrand programs. Conducts market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions. Identifies and evaluates opportunities for program enhancements and partnerships. Develops business cases and proposals for new initiatives.
- Collaborates with the Brand team to manage and maintain loyalty and cobrand brand guidelines, messaging, and materials. Ensures communications and marketing efforts align with brand standards. Updates brand guidelines as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in increasingly responsible branding & marketing and/or event management positions. Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field a plus
- Proficient Microsoft Office products skill, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams; proficiency and understanding of other role-relevant technologies and applications such as Adobe, photoshop, graphics and copywriting
- Experience working with loyalty programs, co-brands, and financial partnerships in the travel or hospitality industry a plus
- Experience with loyalty and credit card marketing preferred

- Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and understanding of loyalty and co-branding marketing and communication drivers, challenges, trends, best practices and key stakeholders. A deep understanding of customer engagement and retention strategies.
- Program/Project Management: Ability to lead consumer-facing digital innovation from ideation through deployment, while often managing multiple projects and keeping them on-track in a still-developing environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Extensive experience collaborating with diverse teams across various departments to build consensus and achieve common goals. Strong influencing and negotiating skills to maximize opportunities for alignment with internal and external business partners.
- Exceptional Communication: Superb verbal and written communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels, articulating the impact of initiatives and explaining concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prioritization: Ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate the highest impact initiatives
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong business judgment, good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Leadership Principles: Understanding of leadership styles, team dynamics, and management best practices.
- Compliance and Legal: Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Motivation: Inner drive to achieve goals, maintain a positive attitude, and inspire others.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: 25-50% with shipboard and shoreside travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
