We are looking for an amazing AI Data Scientist to fill this role, which is based in our Doral 

 office. The AI Data Scientist is a strategic and technical leadership role responsible for driving innovation, insight generation, and business impact through advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. This position will lead the development and deployment of predictive models, machine learning solutions, and experimentation frameworks. Partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the role translates complex business challenges into scalable data science initiatives, shaping the roadmap for AI adoption and delivering measurable outcomes across commercial, operational, and guest experience domains.

Responsibilities

Advanced Modeling & Predictive Analytics

  • Lead the development and deployment of predictive models that forecast guest behavior, optimize pricing and promotions, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques—including regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting, and uplift modeling—to solve complex business problems.

  • Design and evaluate experiments (e.g., A/B testing) across digital and offline channels, ensuring statistical rigor and actionable insights.

  • Monitor model performance over time, define success metrics, and implement strategies for continuous improvement and recalibration.  

AI Innovation

  • Drive the exploration and adoption of cutting-edge AI methodologies, including generative models, natural language processing, and personalization engines.

  • Partner to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation across guest experience, marketing, and operations.

  • Champion AI literacy across the organization, guiding stakeholders through technical concepts and building confidence in data-driven decision-making.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating best practices into the data science roadmap and fostering a culture of innovation.

Data Engineering & Analytical Foundations

  • Build and transform large-scale datasets from diverse sources, performing feature engineering, variable selection, and data cleansing to support robust analysis.

  • Develop complex SQL and Python workflows to automate data preparation, model training, and performance monitoring.

  • Contribute to internal libraries and tools that enhance the scalability and efficiency of data science efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic project management, preferably in hospitality, cruise, or travel industries.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes

  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong understanding of shipboard operations and guest experience drivers.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Experience working with global teams and multicultural environments.

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.

  • This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday)
