Job summary:
The Lead, Talent Acquisition (CASI) & HR Support is a key member of the HR team at Cruise Administration Services Inc. (CASI), entrusted with elevated responsibilities that combine full-cycle talent acquisition and expanded HR support across multiple business functions. This role leads the sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding of qualified candidates to ensure staffing needs are met with speed, quality, and alignment to CASI’s & Carnival standards.
In addition to recruitment, the role acts as the primary HR support contact for assigned functional areas—e.g., but not limited to Global Casino, Information Technology, Accounts Revenue, Finance – Fleet Operations, Purchasing, and Holland America Line (HAL). In this capacity, the role provides day-to-day HR assistance including coordination of onboarding activities, support in employee engagement initiatives, facilitation of HR documentation and processes, and participation in employee relations follow-ups as needed. This role also has dotted line reporting to HR Director CASI and collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure that HR services are delivered in a timely, consistent, and employee-focused manner.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, review and update job descriptions and job specifications. Calibrate with hiring manager in regard to requirement details and interview schedules
- Preparing recruitment materials and post job advertisement to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc. and ensures to review all candidates resumes and job applications online and during onsite hiring.
- Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media etc. Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Timely scheduling of shortlisted applicants for online or face to face interview to assess soft skills and technical knowledge of candidates & timely preparation of Job Offer for successful candidates.
- Updating of candidates status for those rejected and those who will onboard as well as preparing and sending onboarding kits to new employees in order to become fully integrated
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team by preparing and updating database as well as conceptualising, planning & implementing recruitment events.
- Serves as HR Support for Functional Areas as the designated HR point of contact for specific business units (e.g., but not limited to Global Casino, IT, Accounts Revenue, Finance – Fleet Ops, Purchasing, and HAL). Provides timely support on HR-related inquiries, routine processes, and documentation including employee relations matters & preliminary handling of minor concerns. Maintains confidentiality and ensures issues are scalated as needed with appropriate follow-through.
- On Employee Engagement & Experience, Contributes to the planning and implementation of employee engagement activities within assigned units. Gathers feedback on employee experience and communicates relevant insights to HR leadership.
- Works collaboratively with other HR team members, hiring managers, and support units to ensure seamless delivery of people services and Supports HR process improvements within areas of influence.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in end-to-end talent acquisition.
- With experience on coordinating or supporting onboarding, employee engagement activities, or employee relations documentation.
- Exposure to a shared services, BPO, or multi-departmental HR support environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and handling multiple internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in recruitment and HR systems, specifically ORC (Oracle Recruiting Cloud) and Redwood for offer and onboarding processing
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Understanding of Philippine labor laws and basic HR compliance requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Familiarity with HR documentation standards and coordination of HR-related activities.
