We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Inspector, Mechanical (HVAC) to join our Marine Engineering Chapter to help deliver innovative and sustainable cruising, based within our site office in Papenburg, Germany.

Role Overview
You will be a specialist and recognised expert within your own discipline and the wider team. As a chapter member, you will play a vital role within a dynamic and agile team, contributing to technical excellence, sharing specialized knowledge, and actively collaborating with fellow team members to foster innovation and achieve excellence.


You will be a recognised representative for the HVAC discipline in interactions with key stakeholders (brands, corporate entities, consultants, and external bodies, etc.) and other CCS departments. As a Senior Manager, Mechanical (HVAC), your main tasks will be around construction and inspection supervision of hull construction of our newbuild projects under construction in Meyer Werft, Papenburg. There may also be the occasional requirement to travel to external production sites located mainly in Poland.

In addition to the above, your skills and expertise may be required to support the ship design, plan approval, commissioning, sea trials, and final acceptance processes, for newbuilds as well as post-delivery support as directed by project demand.


Key accountabilities include:
•    A proven track record in HVAC installation and commissioning activities on large passenger vessels, including commissioning of HVAC automation and control systems. 
•    Experience in HVAC plan approval activities and design development.
•    Experience in technical outfitting of large passenger vessels, including inspection and surveying of newbuild projects.
•    Responsible for environmental compliance during all construction and testing phases.

Required Qualifications and Skills
•    Degree in relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent professional qualification and relevant experience
•    Proven technical experience in the maritime HVAC sector, such as shipbuilding, ship operators, HVAC system/equipment suppliers, etc.
