Seeking a Diesel Technician Apprentice with strong mechanical aptitude, a proactive learning mindset, and the ability to tackle hands‑on challenges in a dynamic maintenance environment.

Responsibilities
Routinely performs repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on our fleet of motorcoaches, bag trucks and light duty vehicles under the supervision of a journeyman Technician.
144 hours of LMS MCI Training and other online learning opportunities to be completed every year from year 1 to 4.
Complete 2000 hours annually of on-the-job learning.
Document all OJT hours daily on provided timecard to meet the federal requirements for record keeping.
Obtain 608/609 HVAC certification at minimum 609 MVAC and CDL.
Facility Maintenance – clean, repair and maintain facility, grounds, work areas, company tools and equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license Commercial Driver’s License or Ability to Obtain Class B w/ Air Brake Restriction Removed & Passenger Endorsement.
Willingness to learn the trade.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America Line/Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnosis & repairs vehicles based on company guidelines.
Understanding of workplace policies and procedures
Familiarity with team collaboration tools and techniques.
Strong listening and communication skills
Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance
Capacity to be punctual
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work as part of a team
Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions and tasks.
