The Role
The primary focus of the position is to guarantee reliability and accuracy of fuel measurement system, develop and support with the Implementation of Technical pilot projects, including research and evaluation of new technologies related to fuel system optimization and engine performance. Provide troubleshooting and technical recommendations supporting the Brands to determine critical inventory level, budgetary allocation and cost control.
The Senior Engineer will work in conjunction, as project lead, with Corporate and Brand Project Managers to develop and execute pilot initiatives, including technical specifications, budgeting and forecasting project costs, scheduling resources such as contractors, engineers, naval architects, Class and Flag State authorities etc. Engage with Brands to support engine efficiency shipboard testing, optimization and monitoring upgrade package post installation effectiveness.
The successful candidate needs to be prepared to do a reasonable amount of travel in Europe.

• Mechanical Engineering/Automation Engineering degree or related discipline
• Relevant Engineering and/or Project management experience with complex technical installations.
• Ability to make critical technical and managerial decisions in a fast-paced environment. Propensity for teamwork, managing multicultural teams and cross-departmental activities
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project.
This role can be based in Italy, UK, Germany or Finland.
