Your Responsibilities
- Carrying out painting, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks as assigned by the onboard supervisor.
- Prepare work areas with protective coverings and ensure proper setup before painting activities.
- Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, filling, removing old finishes).
- Apply paint, primer, and other coatings using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Follow safety procedures, including proper use of ventilation and protective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness od work areas and support general maintenance and cleaning activities.
Your Profile
Education:
- Completed apprenticeship or basic training in technical, construction, or similar field is an advantage.
Professional & Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in manual work such as painting, cleaning, maintenance, or similar roles.
- Experience in maritime or industrial environment is a plus.
Professional Skills:
- Basic skills in painting, surface preparation, and use of hand tools.
- Ability to handle standard tools and equipment safely.
- Good understanding of safety tools and hygiene procedures.
- Willingness to learn and support different maintenance tasks.
Certifications:
- As per company requirements (if applicable).
Competencies:
- Team-oriented and reliable.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.
- Strong safety awareness.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to support various tasks.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for effectively interacting with onboard and shore-based colleagues.
