Your Responsibilities
Join our team as a Planner Dry Docks, where you'll Lead the planning and execution of dry dock activities for large-scale passenger ship refit programs, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines and stakeholders. Monitor progress, optimize workflows, and support project managers with reporting and analysis.
- Responsible for the holistic planning and execution of all dry dock activities for large-scale passenger ship refit programs, across all disciplines and stakeholders
- Responsible for controlling and reporting daily progress during dry dock execution, ensuring alignment with planned activities. This includes critical path monitoring, risk assessment and reporting, and on-site participation throughout the dry dock periods
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement and dynamic optimisation of activity planning, leveraging lessons learned and adapting to evolving conditions and unforeseen events
- Support project / dry dock manager in generating reports and analysis to support decision-making and project oversight
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering; ship building or ship operation is mandatory. Master’s degree in any of these fields is a plus
- Previous professional experience in planning and executing of ship newbuilds, ship conversions, or repair projects
- Extensive experience in project management. Shipboard experience is a plus
- Extensive proficiency in MS Office and MS Project, with strong technical expertise in both platforms
- Active Team member within complex project organizations, collaborating effectively to achieve project goals
- Structured and organized way of working as well as good time management
- Service oriented with good communication skills
- Very good English language skills! (English is our company language)
- Please note that this position is subject to a fixed-term employment contract with a duration of two years
