Your Responsibilities

 ​

• Support shipboard Public Health Officers in resolving compliance issues and coordinating timely responses to public health concerns.
• Analyze inspection data to identify training needs and deliver targeted public health education.
• Lead proactive and reactive interventions across food safety, water safety, pest management, and disease control.
• Ensure consistent application of public health policies through audits, training, and technical evaluations.
• Advise stakeholders on public health matters, including legislation updates, ship modifications, and equipment planning.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support policy development in collaboration with senior leadership.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health or a related field in Environmental or Public Health Sciences.
• Master’s degree in Public Health or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience supporting public health programs or operations, ideally within environmental or public health settings.
• Familiarity with cruise industry standards such as CDC’s Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP) and SHIPSAN.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, safety-driven approach to work.
• Solid understanding of business administration and record-keeping practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT applications.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
