Your Responsibilities
Are you eager to step into a role that brings together strategic leadership with operational mastery of a dynamic team driving hotel facility excellence across the Costa and AIDA fleet? This pivotal role combines hands-on project leadership with high-level coordination, ensuring onboard facility initiatives are delivered with precision, quality, and efficiency. From dry dock upgrades to in-service enhancements, you’ll help shape guest experiences through seamless execution and smart resource management. - Review and validate project requests submitted by ship superintendents. Define project scopes, prioritize tasks, and assign appropriate Facility Riding Team resources to ensure seamless execution
- Lead the selection process, onboarding, and development of new team members. Control team performance during deployments, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and timeline standards
- Monitor and control project execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and expected outcomes. Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity
- Uphold corporate standards and maritime regulations throughout project execution. Conduct quality checks and post-project evaluations to drive excellence
- Carry out other tasks as assigned to support departmental and fleet-wide objectives
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or a related technical discipline with a maritime focus
- Proven experience in ship operations, preferably within the hotel or hospitality segment. Skilled in identifying operational challenges and delivering effective, practical solutions
- Significant expertise in ship operations, especially in managing hotel interior and facility projects
- Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and decision-making capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and marine maintenance platform
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical skills, a high level of result orientation, and excellent interpersonal communication
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal (English is our company’s official language!)
