Your Responsibilities

 ​

  • Conducting in-depth data analysis and develop creative solutions to complex business problems around cruise ship technical operation
  • Driving innovation in the area of data analytics by exploring new analytical techniques and leveraging cutting-edge technologies
  • Creating of tools to communicate key findings and help business decision making
  • Providing visually compelling data visualizations, dashboards and reports
  • Closely collaboration with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Supporting in designing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize business processes and drive growth

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • More than 1,5 years of professional experience
  • Professional training in mechanical or marine engineering, naval architecture or physics desirable
  • Proficiency in Python programming for various applications, including data manipulation, analysis, visualization, and potential integration with other frameworks such as Qt or machine learning libraries
  • Proven track record of success in data analytics, with a demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where tasks may evolve, and priorities may shift rapidly
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges and driving results
  • Experience with other programming languages such as VBA, C, C++ or C# is a plus desirable
  • Italian language knowledge would be an advantage
  • Very good English language skills (English is our company language)
