We are looking for an IT Technical Project Manager, responsible for overseeing the software lifecycle of the Engine, Energy systems in the maritime area within our Carnival Global Maritime Information Systems (GMIS). This exciting role combines project management and technical expertise, ensuring the implementation of best practices, collaboration across departments, and delivery of innovative solutions.

How you'll live your ambition:
From our offices in Genoa, as the IT Technical Project Manager - Engine, Energy & Efficiency Systems, you will oversee the software lifecycle for critical Engine, Energy, and Environmental systems across the Costa fleet. Your mission will be to drive innovation and efficiency, ensuring that technology solutions align with business needs while optimizing system performance to support maritime operations and sustainability goals.

- You will promote sustainability in technology solutions and adhering to HESS safety principles.

- You will manage projects with precision by coordinating technical teams, business analysts, and external vendors to meet strategic priorities.
- Data collection, It will be your mission to ensure seamless and reliable processes, empowering Maritime Systems and the Data Warehouse.
- Risk management, timelines, and budgets will be your daily compass, keeping projects on course and on target.
- Communication and collaboration will be at the heart of your work, promoting best practices across Carnival Corporation.
What makes you unique:
- Your solid academic foundation in STEM or IT (Bachelor's Degree; Master's preferred) and your 5+ years of experience equip you to excel in this role.
- Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 highlight your project management expertise.
- Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and cloud concepts sets you apart in the tech field.
- You are skilled at managing priorities in fast-paced environments and inspiring collaboration across teams.
- As a fluent English and Italian speaker, you will thrive in our global setting, connecting with stakeholders across the organization.
- You possess foundational knowledge in programming languages and networking, essential for managing technical projects.
