How you’ll live your ambition:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic CRM & Customer Analytics team located in Genoa. In that role, you will have the opportunity to analyze, interpret, and translate complex business inputs and requirements into actionable descriptions that drive the development process of our CRM Programs.

Demonstrate your passion

  • Numbers are your natural habitat. As such, you will have the opportunity to coordinate the process of developing a variety of mathematical models (including data collection, analysis, prototyping, testing, creating production systems, and developing performance metrics) focused primarily in the area of CRM and customer data, but which may expand into other areas of the business.
  • You are championing data science within our business to improve our understanding of customers' propensities and preferences within the products and services we provide.

Get things right

  • You will be point person and responsible for the quality and use of the Data Lake and CRM customer data, working with the CRM business analyst, CRM campaign coordinator, IT and other departments to develop new data.
  • We expect you to chart the course for our Customer Analytics acting as a focal point of competences, training junior scientists, business analysts and management on use of science models and tools. 
  • You will promote corporate culture and values among employees, leveraging positive relationships with the company’s leaders to obtain optimum results. 

Safety First

  • You like to have an impact on daily projects. Therefore you are able to recommend the creation of tools/reports for analysts and management to show business trends, forecasts, and customer behavior. 
  • You will take care of monitor model performance, re-calibrate, maintain, and recommend design enhancements. 

What makes you unique:

  • Your journey includes relevant experiences (5+ years of experience) in developing, implementing and maintaining Machine Learning / AI models and Optimization Algorithms in complex environments.
  • You approach decision-making with a data-driven mindset, strengthen by academic backgrounds in Economics, Engineering Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • In your wheelhouse, you have valuable tools such as advanced knowledge of SQL and another statistical programming language (Python or R); familiarity with Azure Databricks and Power BI.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
