We’re looking for an amazing VP, Onboard Revenue to fill this role, which is based in our Fort Lauderdale office. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all operations of Onboard Revenue performance and revenue-related functions onboard the 17 vessels of PCL for Shore Excursions, Communications, Photo and Corporate Partner Services including Spa, Retail and Art. The VP will have a total organization of 27 shoreside and 1,353 shipboard, along with direction financial responsibility for approximately $850 million gross income from Spa, ShoreEx, Retail, Art, and Photo. You’ll oversee the Shorex product and operations team for PCL and be responsible for the Future Cruise Consultant program. You’ll work closely with the data analytics team and oversee reporting and forecasting including data analytics and quarterly reviews with concessionaire partners. You’ll plan and direct marketing efforts onboard and partner with shoreside marketing team to maximize onboard revenue including targeted marketing efforts and personalized offers. Maximize pre-cruise sales and participation for onboard revenue outlets and drive upsell opportunities. Fulfils responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies, objectives, and applicable government laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Execution and Performance 

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase onboard revenue through the sale of products, services, and experiences for PCL. This includes Shore Excursions, Spa, Art, Communications, Retail, and Miscellaneous Revenues, to ensure maximized revenue while maintaining the highest standard of quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the strategy and development of the Future Cruise Consultant program for PCL including managing personnel and incentives to maximize onboard sales.
  • Oversee and lead the Shorex product team to manage quality of tours, pricing, and margins. Ensure timeliness of product load, waitlist clearance and vendor payments.
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize revenue streams with Retail, Art, and Spa concessionaires. Oversees revenue performance including VIP program and overall guest experience.
  • Effectively prioritizes tasks to support daily regional responsibilities while providing additional assistance to third-party vendors, direct reports, and other team members.

High Performance Team Leadership

  • Demonstrated success in leading a team with strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Establishes short and long-term departmental goals and objectives for middle management to execute against while maintaining appropriate standards of performance for the team. 
  • Champion performance metrics, setting clear KPIs to measure team success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and provide coaching, counseling, and direction to direct reports to ensure their continued professional growth and development.
  • Effectively prioritizes tasks to support daily regional responsibilities while providing additional assistance to third-party vendors, direct reports, and other team members.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, sales, operations, and finance, to execute revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other C-suite executives to align on overall brand business objectives.
  • In coordination with executive leadership team, sales and marketing, build revenue management, business intelligence, customer service and fleet deployment strategy to generate optimized revenue performance in alignment with the company’s financial objectives.
  • Work with Executive team to identify strategic imperatives and provide leadership and execution to those cross-department initiatives that are critical for the long-term goals of the company. 

Budget Ownership

  • G&A budget responsibilities for direct team.
  • Financial oversight of approximately $850 million gross income from Spa, ShoreEx, Retail, Art, and Photo.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management)
  • Strong Financial and Analytics Skills with significant experience reviewing financial reporting.
  • Extensive cruise operations experience and knowledge
  • Understanding of Marketing related tools and Sales Skills
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
  • Proficiency in the use of computer business applications including MS Office.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking and work under pressure to meet deadlines. 
  • Minimum 15+ years in cruise industry experience
  • 10+ years managerial experience 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday). However, beginning in 2027, employees in this position will be required to work on-site at our new headquarters in Miami, FL.
