We are looking for an amazing Vice President, Business Technology Enablement to fill this role, which is based in our Fort Lauderdale office. The Vice President, Business Technology Enablement serves as the primary internal customer partner within IT. This executive acts as the trusted technology consultant and delivery partner to all business verticals, aligning solutions with strategic goals to achieve measurable results. Through a pod-based and customer-aligned delivery model, this team designs, executes, and owns applications that fuel growth, streamline operations, and enhance guest satisfaction. By embedding Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) and Technology Integrators directly within business units, this organization ensures IT remains deeply connected to business priorities, elevates service quality, and drives maximum value from every technology investment across Princess and the broader brand family. The Vice President will have experience influence on technology leadership, guest experience management, and strategic planning with G&A budget oversight for a team of ~70 FTEs, contractors, and managed service providers.

Responsibilities
Formulate and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for guest and crew technology innovations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and measurable business outcomes.
Serve as the strategic technology partner for core business units including Maritime, Finance, Hotel, Retail, Food & Beverage, Product Management, and Pre-Cruise ensuring IT solutions directly support their goals and elevate day-to-day service delivery.
Champion the Business Relationship Manager and Technology Integrator roles, embedding IT experts within business units to improve satisfaction, accelerate delivery, and provide transparent insight into technology initiatives.
Build a culture underpinned by strong governance, budget stewardship, and measurable ROI for every IT initiative.
Lead solutions engineering for guest and crew experiences, ensuring all digital solutions meet business objectives and provide superior user experiences.
Lead the vision, implementation, and ongoing support of Order Management platforms, ensuring seamless commerce, coordination, and guest service.
Oversee the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence, partnering with stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities that enhance efficiency, consistency, and employee experience.
Partner with Revenue Management to deliver technology and data solutions that maximize profitability while keeping customer needs at the forefront.
Own the technology strategy and continuous improvement roadmap for Reservations systems, ensuring a reliable, scalable platform underpins the guest booking journey. Operations team, and partners with internal and external teams to secure our shipboard environment and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Oversee shipboard software and embedded systems, including guest and crew applications delivering intuitive and reliable experiences.
Lead the organization through large-scale transformations, managing change, employee adoption, and minimizing resistance during transitions.
Collaborate with PCL IT fleet applications and infrastructure teams to identify and address technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
Recommend and participate in projects that expand, change, or improve system solutions that supports the business.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers to maintain an understanding of business cases and ensure appropriate IT infrastructure solutions are selected.
Contribute to IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Influence and collaborate with senior executives to drive decision making and ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business priorities.
Drive cross-brand and multi-brand initiatives in partnership with Carnival Corporation and sister brands such as Holland America Line and CUK, fostering consistency, innovation, and best-in-class service across where there is a common portfolio.
Ensure the reliability and security of IT systems through initiative-taking lifecycle planning, monitoring, and maintenance.
Follow and enforce infrastructure and support policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Implement best practices and standards for infrastructure, operations, and support.
Partner with corporate cybersecurity team to improve our brands’ security posture and to reduce risks and vulnerabilities.
Manage significant budgets, ensuring cost-effective investments while delivering exceptional guest and crew experiences.
Coordinate with business, corporate/CCL IT groups, and PCL shoreside IT leadership to develop technology direction and strategic plans.
Work with IT leadership to ensure strategies, business cases and implementation solutions meet corporate objectives.
Ensure appropriate lifecycle planning is established.
Collaborate with business sponsors and executives, IT leadership and key service providers to develop IT Infrastructure financial plans.
Responsible for the team’s strategic roadmap and responsibilities, capital and annual operating budgets including G&A, vendor selection and contracts, IT Officer planning, and all related security and compliance requirements.
G&A budget oversight for a team of ~70 FTEs, contractors, and managed service providers.
Annual fiscal responsibility for ~$40 million, including budget development, quarterly forecasting, performance reporting, and cost optimization initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA or master’s degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of 15 years leading technology, guest experience, or analytical teams supporting senior leadership.
10+ years of managerial experience at scale.
Preferred experience with shipboard operations or global service delivery.
Strong proficiency in advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Well-versed in infrastructure management (cloud and on-premises) systems.
Familiarity with worldwide deployments and operations.
Financial acumen with the ability to create, analyze, and communicate data-driven insights.
Executive presence with proven ability to influence C-suite leaders and drive consensus across business units.
Beginning in 2028, this position will remain on the same Tuesday–Thursday in-office schedule but will transition to our new headquarters in the Miami, FL area.
